Owl's Blogging SLife

OMG I miss everyone sooo much! Sorry I haven't been on. I hope no one's ran away. I caught a cold (I know a good excuse for being SL lazy). Yeah... I would've made your pixels sick. ;P I'm still a bit sick because of stupid, crappy weather. It's killing me!!! Oh well. I shouldn't get too grumpy because... It's FRIDAY! Yaay! I missed so much this week so be good to me. 

Hey! I'm wearing guy clothes today... because I want to. :P I know I always look like a silly owl so it's OK for me to wear men's clothing while standing on a windmill. Maybe I should work on a male avatar so that I can feature men's fashion and offers... (I am but it's not easy!) OK I am working on a male avatar but it's taking me a while. Haha, so for now you can just look at me model for male clothing! :D I hope you guys still like it. My outfit is GizzA's March group gift. GizzA is free to join and there are other free great female group gifts available too. :)

Berry has another great meme for us bloggers! :D This one is about "Why Do I Blog?" I think Berry is doing a fantastic job with her memes. I'm having fun getting to know other bloggers as well. :) Again you will get to know more about me because I'm a mysterious owl. OK not really. Not anymore actually. Berry just had to be nosy and make me blurt out things again. :P Oh well, you're still awesome Berry. <3

1. How long have you been blogging? I've only started this year so since Thursday, 17 January 2013.
2. Why did you start blogging? I wanted to start a blog so that I could collect memories, photos and moments I've had in SL and sharing it with you guys. 
3. How many times a week do you post an entry? I try to post at least once everyday. 
4. How many different blogs do you read on a regular basis? A lot... I can't really tell how many because sometimes I may read couple of blogs often then go on to blogs I've never read before. But yes I do read HEAPS of blog 'cause you know, I'm curious and am always needing to know stuff. 

1. Do you comment on other people’s blogs? Not much... I'm shy. Haha I know, maybe I should more often.
2. Do you keep track of how many visitors you have? Yes, once or twice a week. Just to get an idea of how my blog's doing. 
3. Did you ever regret a post that you wrote? Hmm not really. Maybe because I'm still a bit of a blogging newb. I admit I do have emo posts of myself being all sad but it's OK because I'm expressing my feelings and I guess a lot of the times I want my blog to be human... Like about life.
4. Do you think your readers have a true sense of who you are based on your blog? I hope so. My blog is about my SLife. :P
5. Do you blog under your real name? My real name is Daniella.
6. Are there topics that you would never blog about? Probably but I'm not sure yet seeing that I'm new and have just been posting about personal things, random photography and all. I pretty much blog what I want to blog about. I don't want to feel forced to blog about something if it's not appealing to me. If something does stand out for me, I'll most likely post it up and share it.
7. What is the theme/topic of your blog? Errr, umm... I'm thinking. SLife? Second Life? Anything I would like to write and share with you. :P Haha so it's a little bit of everything in one because I'm crazy like that. I may add a little bit of real life in it only because I feel it connects to me more.
8. Do you have more than one blog? If so, why? I only have one blog so far. 
9. What have you found to be the benefits of blogging? It's been helping me learn more about myself. I'm also feeling more confident because I get to express myself through what I write and photography. I love photography. <3 So you can say blogging has made me a better explorer than I was before. :)
10. So, why do you continue to blog? I continue to blog because I think A LOT. I think ALL the time. Blogging relieves me. I can just relax and say what I think because what goes on through my mind is crazy I tell you! :P Haha and I also love that I get to know others from blogging. Blogging is fun for me because I'm sharing what I think and am learning all the time.

I need to set things straight. I am not looking for a relationship in SL and I am NOT interested in SLex! Seriously though stop, stop, STOP asking or being super flirty. Nothing is going to make me change my mind. :P Sorry I had to make this post because it just irritates me when people don't listen and just do things that they know you don't want to, and when you disagree they just get angry or try again. :/ I have a real life boyfriend and I am not interested in a SL one. My RL owl is all I need. <3 Now stop.


Who would want to partner up with this freak anyway? :P

PicMonkey is probably the only editing tool I need. It is amazing! I don't add much effects on my photos. Most of the time I'm lazy and add no effects (notice I haven't been putting my name on any of my pictures recently). Oh well, not like my photos are worth copying. But NO ONE should be because it's all mine!

What is true love?
Just a crazy question on my mind. I'm a bit of a big thinker. Especially at night. I know too much thinking probably isn't good for me but I can't help myself. :P Now you know why I blog, because I think and I need to put my ideas some place. :P If you're wondering why I'm crying in my photo above it's 'cause I was a hungry owl last night. (OK more like sad). Anyway back to my question. I think true love is when you feel crazy for someone. You would do anything for them because they make you feel on top, as if nothing can stop you. It's true that love can be scary, it can tear you up and land you into the deep, depressing, endless, what feels like bottomless hell. I don't want to exaggeration but I already did. Whoops. :o It's just bad. :P 

I know someone who loved a person. Both of them were perfect for each other. They loved each other so much but then all of a sudden, so happy, they suddenly stop feeling that love. Now that brings me to think - Why does this happen?
Well love works in it's Mysterious ways. You'll never know what you'd expect. You can say love is like the wind, passing through different directions, going up, down, never knowing when it'll stop or where it'll go.

You've just got to make the most of it. I believe love itself is a big journey and an adventure! And I love adventures. ;)

Hey everyone. Sorry I've been RL busy lately so it feels like I haven't seen my avatar for ages! Anyway there's another fun meme from Berry. Called My 10 SL First Meme. :D It's basically about the first things we did or experienced in SL. Well here are mine.

1. First SL Friend: sweet lita (lita001). When I was a newb she added me but she was also a newb too so I guess two newbs had stuff to teach eachother. That went well. :P I guess her and I were very different people! Haha. She once invited me to where she worked which was at this striper, pole-dancing place and she told me if I wanted to work there she'll help. Yeah. Just standing there gave me the shivers! LOL did not feel safe. :P Had guys constantly sending me IMs when I first set foot there. I never came back. Not because I was chicken. ;P But because I'm a butt-kicking owl! Ask Digi. :P 
2. First SL Kiss: Hmm I'm not sure about this one 'cause I've had a few unintentional ones from checking out pose balls with friends. I don't actually remember who first kissed me so sorry about that. :D
3. First SLex time/place/partner: Err... Like you Berry I'm a SL virgin so nothing interesting to share there. :P
4. First SL Partner/Girlfriend/Boyfriend/Wife/Husband: I'm SL single. Have always been probably always will. 
5. First SL Job: Well... I was offered a couple of jobs like pole-dancing from my friend! LOL. Also another one for modelling at this place but I don't think I accepted 'cause firstly I'm a bit of a prude, secondly they were barely online 'cause I'm all the way from Australia and I'm a pretty busy lil' owl.
6. First SL Creation: Errr... My shape? Haha. I hope that counts. :D
7. First Encounter with a Linden: None. :( Or maybe I was too much of a newb to notice. 
8. First Encounter with a SLebrity: One time I saw the store owner of Siss Boom. Lestat Reuven but I was probably to scared to say anything to her! OMG. But her creations are really awesome. 
9. First SL Sim you fell in love with: I think Tempura is the sim I first fell in love with and still do because of the beautiful scenes and people I always bump into there but the thing is it's not the sim I visit the most. :P Sometimes I enjoy my quiet sims.

Today Black Hawk took me dancing. I sort of owe him a dance because the last time we talked he asked me to dance with him and I sort of left him to dance with a robot. 


Haha, at first I was a little iffy because he wanted me to belly dance for him too. It was at a belly dancing place. Lol and owls can't really belly dance. :P I arrived in my red elegant dress but everyone was wearing actual belly dancing clothes which made me feel like a weirdo. LOL but Black Hawk disagreed. He said I looked sexy. Whatever you silly Hawk. :P 


Anyway it was all good. :) Was funny how the Arabic music was playing and none of us had an idea what it was about. :P Well I know for a fact, I probably won't be the best dancer but that's OK. I had fun stepping on peoples' foot, dancing in the boiling hot desert and falling into the wrong positions here and then. :)


Whooo! Look at me go. I'm belly dancing! Alright you can't really tell how good I am by just looking at photos... You got to be there. Go to Bellydance Goddess.
