My SL Guilty Confessions *Cough*

OMG. I am so sorry for not being on SL! Real life business and sickness has gotten in the way of things. :( I am still sick... I should be lying in bed sleeping but instead I thought I would just sneak a post. :P

So I guess I've missed a couple of Berry's fantastic memes! (I'm so guilty!) 
Which brings me to do this meme; "My SL Guilty confessions"
OK lets start.
  1. I am too shy. Lol it's a virtual world and all but there is a real person behind an avatar. I just feel awkward sometimes when I want to say hello to someone but I'm afraid if I become friends with them, they'll probably find me boring or SL anti-social (which I am becoming, seeing that so many events are taking place in my RL.) Even with some friends, sometimes I can't say hello because either I'm afraid I'll bother them or I might suddenly go busy on them. D: 
  2. I try not to buy L$ too often or at all because I think there is no need to use my money on virtual things. Unless I really really like them. Every once in a while I will give my avi some Lindens. :P (I am the worst avi owner) LOL. 
  3. I don't feel completely comfortable dancing with a partner in SL. I just don't know. It feels weird especially if the guy your dancing with always puts on the most intimate dances. >< Then I honestly really don't enjoy it. I have a RL bf so it feels wrong to me even though it's just dancing (with kissing, touching etc.) So if I don't agree to dancing with you, don't feel hurt about it. You're probably a good dancer, I am definitely not. :P
  4. Lol if you flirt I won't flirt back. Hahaha if you catch a guy flirting with me it'll most likely end in "You're no good at flirting." OH WELL. I wasn't trying to flirt crazy person. :P
  5. I take too many photos in SL. D: I have so many I should delete but just can't get myself to delete! Well I'm loving the new flickr because as you know I don't have a pro acc and the changes has allowed me to upload more pictures! (yay!) 
All right only five guilty confessions because my head is beginning to hurt. I hope everyone is happy, well and missing me. :P Thanks all who hope I get better. I will. :)

Meme: I Wish Upon A Star...

I wish upon a star

I hope I'm not too late for this meme from Berry! I was waiting for that moment where the SL shooting star would appear... Until I found out three wishes were granted from genies, so I then went to find a lamp. :P I made my three wishes but they won't come true if I told you! That's the wishing rule. Well then again there was no point because everyones' wishes are pretty much like mine. Hahaha oh well, I share them with you anyway. :)


Wish 1: I wish I had a home. My own SL home! It would be nice to have my own privacy and freedom. Maybe even an island would be great. ;) Hehe the things I can get up to in Dani World (OK I'm kidding about Dani World... More like Daniville, Danielland, Dani-land, Danisland, Dani...)

Wish 2: I wish I had the skill and talent to create amazing things in SL. Why those people are so lucky. :P I would LOVE to create something! I will try one day if I have time. I wish I had more time. Whoops too many wishes, sorry. :P 

Wish 3: I wish Second Life had a better reputation so that I don't run into idiots newbs who want SLex! I mean so I can tell others I play it without feeling like a weirdo... I know some people who don't play SL think that the the game is for "sad people with no life" or perverts and dorks who need the virtual life SLex & gf/bf/furry etc. Well the truth is SL will never be perfect. There are different kinds of people in every corner of the world and in SL too. I guess that "not perfect" rule also applies to the real world. There will be sad people, lovely people, dramatic people and people who just want to have fun and enjoy life. SL is a game where you make it how you want to. I believe it doesn't have to have one particular label on its name. 



OK I would've gone on with more wishes but then again, I would tire my genie out so now I'm going to go look for a shooting star! :)

Berry has another great meme for us bloggers! :D This one is about "Why Do I Blog?" I think Berry is doing a fantastic job with her memes. I'm having fun getting to know other bloggers as well. :) Again you will get to know more about me because I'm a mysterious owl. OK not really. Not anymore actually. Berry just had to be nosy and make me blurt out things again. :P Oh well, you're still awesome Berry. <3

  1. How long have you been blogging? I've only started this year so since Thursday, 17 January 2013.
  2. Why did you start blogging? I wanted to start a blog so that I could collect memories, photos and moments I've had in SL and sharing it with you guys. 
  3. How many times a week do you post an entry? I try to post at least once everyday. 
  4. How many different blogs do you read on a regular basis? A lot... I can't really tell how many because sometimes I may read couple of blogs often then go on to blogs I've never read before. But yes I do read HEAPS of blog 'cause you know, I'm curious and am always needing to know stuff. 
  1. Do you comment on other people’s blogs? Not much... I'm shy. Haha I know, maybe I should more often.
  2. Do you keep track of how many visitors you have? Yes, once or twice a week. Just to get an idea of how my blog's doing. 
  3. Did you ever regret a post that you wrote? Hmm not really. Maybe because I'm still a bit of a blogging newb. I admit I do have emo posts of myself being all sad but it's OK because I'm expressing my feelings and I guess a lot of the times I want my blog to be human... Like about life.
  4. Do you think your readers have a true sense of who you are based on your blog? I hope so. My blog is about my SLife. :P
  5. Do you blog under your real name? My real name is Daniella.
  6. Are there topics that you would never blog about? Probably but I'm not sure yet seeing that I'm new and have just been posting about personal things, random photography and all. I pretty much blog what I want to blog about. I don't want to feel forced to blog about something if it's not appealing to me. If something does stand out for me, I'll most likely post it up and share it.
  7. What is the theme/topic of your blog? Errr, umm... I'm thinking. SLife? Second Life? Anything I would like to write and share with you. :P Haha so it's a little bit of everything in one because I'm crazy like that. I may add a little bit of real life in it only because I feel it connects to me more.
  8. Do you have more than one blog? If so, why? I only have one blog so far. 
  9. What have you found to be the benefits of blogging? It's been helping me learn more about myself. I'm also feeling more confident because I get to express myself through what I write and photography. I love photography. <3 So you can say blogging has made me a better explorer than I was before. :)
  10. So, why do you continue to blog? I continue to blog because I think A LOT. I think ALL the time. Blogging relieves me. I can just relax and say what I think because what goes on through my mind is crazy I tell you! :P Haha and I also love that I get to know others from blogging. Blogging is fun for me because I'm sharing what I think and am learning all the time.

My 10 SL First Meme

My 10 SL First MemeHey everyone. Sorry I've been RL busy lately so it feels like I haven't seen my avatar for ages! Anyway there's another fun meme from Berry. Called My 10 SL First Meme. :D It's basically about the first things we did or experienced in SL. Well here are mine.

  1. First SL Friend: sweet lita (lita001). When I was a newb she added me but she was also a newb too so I guess two newbs had stuff to teach eachother. That went well. :P I guess her and I were very different people! Haha. She once invited me to where she worked which was at this striper, pole-dancing place and she told me if I wanted to work there she'll help. Yeah. Just standing there gave me the shivers! LOL did not feel safe. :P Had guys constantly sending me IMs when I first set foot there. I never came back. Not because I was chicken. ;P But because I'm a butt-kicking owl! Ask Digi. :P 
  2. First SL Kiss: Hmm I'm not sure about this one 'cause I've had a few unintentional ones from checking out pose balls with friends. I don't actually remember who first kissed me so sorry about that. :D
  3. First SLex time/place/partner: Err... Like you Berry I'm a SL virgin so nothing interesting to share there. :P
  4. First SL Partner/Girlfriend/Boyfriend/Wife/Husband: I'm SL single. Have always been probably always will. 
  5. First SL Job: Well... I was offered a couple of jobs like pole-dancing from my friend! LOL. Also another one for modelling at this place but I don't think I accepted 'cause firstly I'm a bit of a prude, secondly they were barely online 'cause I'm all the way from Australia and I'm a pretty busy lil' owl.
  6. First SL Creation: Errr... My shape? Haha. I hope that counts. :D
  7. First Encounter with a Linden: None. :( Or maybe I was too much of a newb to notice. 
  8. First Encounter with a SLebrity: One time I saw the store owner of Siss Boom. Lestat Reuven but I was probably to scared to say anything to her! OMG. But her creations are really awesome. 
  9. First SL Sim you fell in love with: I think Tempura is the sim I first fell in love with and still do because of the beautiful scenes and people I always bump into there but the thing is it's not the sim I visit the most. :P Sometimes I enjoy my quiet sims.
  10. First SL Blog Post: Well I wish mine was embarrassing or old so it looks like I'm more SL expirenced! LOL but here: http://www.bloggingslife.blogspot.com.au/2013/01/hi-there_16.html.

Hello. Yay! Berry recently came up with another fantastic meme for us bloggers. :) I think these are really fun because it's always cool getting to know someone. Especially if you are curious like me then you know that you just got to know! I'm sleepy (omg it's just 7 pm!) but just awake enough to procrastinate. Haha, alright here are my ten answered questions! :D

  • What is the rez date for your current SL Avatar that you use most often? November 08, 2011. My first ever avatar and my current one. :)
  • Where was the first place you made friends as a newb and got to know people in Second Life? I don't really remember the first place I visited but they were probably freebie places because you know... I was a newbie. :D I think Free Dove was one of them. After that I went exploring different sims and meeting people. I am shy so I guess I didn't make friends right away. :P
  • Where do you spend most of your SL time now? Homeless... Wandering the streets of SL. Particularly Bubblez' place because I enjoy how I'm not very disrupted there.
  • Who is your closest friend in Second Life? (only pick one) OMG I don't know! I can't choose. I think Digi is the only one who brings the full madness out of me :P LOL. 
  • What is the most favorite thing in your inventory? (only pick one) My owl Nox. We are bffs! ❤
  • The last thing you purchased in Second Life? Huit's: Skin fair 2013 gift (@The Skin Fair 2013)
  • What color clothing does your avatar wear most often? Red.
  • Do you prefer to walk, run or fly? For an owl I walk more than I fly. :P
  • What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done in SL? Errr listen to Digi? Man he is crazy. He has ran over me with his car, I've chucked him into an active volcano, I've tried feeding him to the Gods but they didn't like his smell so they didn't eat him. Well, at least the Gods spared our lives which made me relieved because all these disastrous storms and floods appeared when I was with Digi. :P And some other crazy silly things that I can't seem to think of at the moment. Too sleepy. 
  • Who would you like to play YOU, in the movie of your SLife? Natalie Protman. 
    • I hope you enjoyed that. I'm going to fly off but I'll be back... with my prey. :D

    Let's Talk About Me: My Seven SL Facts!

    Let's Talk About Me! 
    A couple of days a go Strawberry Singh made a "My Seven SL Facts Meme." It's a good idea so I'm participating too. :) 

     Here are my seven SL facts!:

     My SL fact #1: Believe it or not, I'm actually really shy. So you will barely see me saying "hello" first when meeting someone. Although if you say "hello" to me then I will respond. :) I enjoy talking to all kinds of people just sometimes I assume I'll be disturbing them. :P I know I'm silly. Anyway say hi! I don't bite... Unless you're a chocolate coated cup-cake with a caramel coated strawberry on top.

     My SL fact #2: I enjoy my quiet time in SL but I do get easily distracted! Hehe, this is no ones fault. :P I don't mind getting distracted really. It gets me off my lazy pixel butt sometimes. :)

     My SL fact #3: I say I'm an owl but I don't really have an owl avatar... Boo! Well not yet anyway. ;) You'll mostly be seeing me in the air or on a tree somewhere. :P

     My SL fact #4: "My owl" refers to my RL lover and I am not interested in a SL one! Firstly because I love my owl to death. Secondly because it's hard to find someone who is dedicated, trustworthy and will give their whole life to be with you. To me it seems unlikely to find real love in SL. It is possible but rare. If you do find someone who is dedicated to you and will give you all their love in SL then best wishes to you. As long as you're happy, I'm happy for you. :) 

     My SL fact #5: My avatar has been hacked before! D: I have no idea how... I've always been very careful and aware of those phishing scams and stuff but I guess that wasn't enough. Luckily after contacting Linden Lab. A couple of days later, I got my account back. Untouched and safe. :D 

     My SL fact #6: I have to be obvious. :P I enjoy exploring! I guess this is because I live on adventure. I don't like staying in one place too long. I enjoy getting out there, learning and exploring new things. I do all the time. Which is probably why my brain is always filled of questions and curiosity. 

     My SL fact #7: My avatar is my RL self. I don't act like someone else in SL. I know it's a game and people have the right to do and be as they please but me personally, I feel most comfortable being myself. Therefore I can learn more about myself in this extraordinary world called Second Life.
