 I don't often try new things in SL especially skins and makeup but the January's Powder Pack gave me a good excuse to! The appliers in Powder Pack are catered to Catwa mesh head wearers. Be sure to pick this up as it is still available. When you pre-order the Powder Pack before the 17th you will pay 1,500 L$, as is no longer the 17th, the price is 3,000L$. You can also pick this up from MP. If you've upgraded your system head to a Catwa mesh head or if you simply love skins or makeup, I suggest you subscribe to Powder Pack for your monthly dose of high end, exclusive and new skin/makeup products. 

Here are few of the things I loved from this month's Powder Pack. This Bold & Beauty 'Gemma' skin I find absolutely beautiful and unique. Pink Fuel has always pleased me, when I saw all these lipstick options from them in the Powder Pack, I was overjoyed! These lippies are able to be blended to more opaque or translucent tone. My eye-shadow, 'Colorama' comes from SlackGirl. I love all the eye-shadows she has included.

Hi guys! Haven't been on SL in a while. I've been busy, I've been accepted into university! Whoop whoop. I'm studying Animal Veterinary Biosciences. Now my next challenge is to complete it. Now private high school was bad enough so fingers crossed, let the new challenge begin and end swiftly.

Oh Where Can My Kitty Be?

I may be rambling a bit here, but I wished that SL was easier to explain to people who don't play it. I have introduced it to my really close friends but it is hard to explain to the whole community outside SL. 

I'm not a secretive person when it comes to my personal life as I feel it is more comfortable to keep it real in both virtual and real worlds. I enjoy sharing what I love which is photography, people I adore, places and things I enjoy, and that includes all games I play like SL. 

That being said though, I do respect those who make Second Life a confidential part of their lives and keep it that way. However why does it have to be seen as just that, "a secretive game"? 

There is a stigma associated with people who play Second Life, with the help of non-long term players or people from the outside who describe it as a game for virtual world sex, cheating and/or trolling. How sad, right? No one out there really takes notice of the creativity associated with such virtual worlds, which are made by the very talented users themselves. People just assume that players who play this game seek pleasure that they can't attain in real life or have a depressing life. If people are truly hurt and seek SL for relief, let them be, it is none of your business. Like many games, Second Life is to me is for fun. I play many games, especially MMOs that I enjoy in my spare time. Second Life is one I go back to keep updated with the community, talk to friends from the other side of the world, and check on my favourite designers and check out new ones. 

Lately SL has attracted a lot of creepers due to its terrible rep but to be honest with you, that goes for digital and real life. You're going to meet all sorts of people on your adventures in both worlds which makes it all the more exciting. It's ok because on this blog I'll keep you updated on what's up in SL and so forth. Therefore hope you enjoy, as there's more to come.

Treat Yourself This New Year!

My Catya Bento Head

Happy New Year! 

 Goodbye and good riddance 2016. I'm welcoming 2017 with high hopes and positivity. Last year was my most stressful year of schooling so let's hope university makes up for it. In the meantime, since it is the summer holidays here, which is all about indulging in the good things, I've decided to treat myself to a Bento mesh head. This mesh head is "Catya" from Catwa! I'm still tweaking it as we speak but I can say I adore the full ability to customise. We can now look unique in high quality mesh heads, what more could I ask for?!

I am wearing Pink Fuel's "Sabine" Catwa Mesh Head Applier which is suited for Bento or Non-Bento Catwa mesh heads.

Santa Tell Me if You're Really There

I was feeling super Christmassy and decided to go to a sim I've never explored before to take photos. That's what blogging makes me do - It forces my lazy digital butt go out more often. I decided to go to Winter Moon which is a gorgeous icy sim with a radiant aura to it. After I had taken my photos, I had bumped into an old friend of mine, Duchamp Magic. It was an unexpected surprise but a nice one! I hadn't seen or heard from him for almost four years. We rekindled our friendship of course, now I guess it's time to hunt down my other friends from the past. Well, I'd like to.

Dreaming of a White Christmas

The last time I posted was almost four years ago. What a good time of year to be back, yet I still cringe at some old posts, haha. 


I'm dreaming of a white Christmas because it never snows where I live. I've never seen or experienced snow in my life! Someone kindly get me a flight over to the other side of the world please. It's too hot over in Oz right now, 30°C and counting to be exact. By the way these glitter freckles and candy cane eye shadow gifts from Izzie's are just the cutest.

Happy 10th Birthday SL
Sorry I haven't posted in a while (ok like forever). Please don't hate me... Even though you probably do :P I've been so busy with RL. So much is happening now. My SL Guilty Confessions *Cough*

OMG. I am so sorry for not being on SL! Real life business and sickness has gotten in the way of things. :( I am still sick... I should be lying in bed sleeping but instead I thought I would just sneak a post. :P
Sick owl needs some rest

So I guess I've missed a couple of Berry's fantastic memes! (I'm so guilty!) 
Which brings me to do this meme; "My SL Guilty confessions"
OK lets start.
  1. I am too shy. Lol it's a virtual world and all but there is a real person behind an avatar. I just feel awkward sometimes when I want to say hello to someone but I'm afraid if I become friends with them, they'll probably find me boring or SL anti-social (which I am becoming, seeing that so many events are taking place in my RL.) Even with some friends, sometimes I can't say hello because either I'm afraid I'll bother them or I might suddenly go busy on them. D: 
  2. I try not to buy L$ too often or at all because I think there is no need to use my money on virtual things. Unless I really really like them. Every once in a while I will give my avi some Lindens. :P (I am the worst avi owner) LOL. 
  3. I don't feel completely comfortable dancing with a partner in SL. I just don't know. It feels weird especially if the guy your dancing with always puts on the most intimate dances. >< Then I honestly really don't enjoy it. I have a RL bf so it feels wrong to me even though it's just dancing (with kissing, touching etc.) So if I don't agree to dancing with you, don't feel hurt about it. You're probably a good dancer, I am definitely not. :P
  4. Lol if you flirt I won't flirt back. Hahaha if you catch a guy flirting with me it'll most likely end in "You're no good at flirting." OH WELL. I wasn't trying to flirt crazy person. :P
  5. I take too many photos in SL. D: I have so many I should delete but just can't get myself to delete! Well I'm loving the new flickr because as you know I don't have a pro acc and the changes has allowed me to upload more pictures! (yay!) 
All right only five guilty confessions because my head is beginning to hurt. I hope everyone is happy, well and missing me. :P Thanks all who hope I get better. I will. :)

Hello all! I'm just owl-ing around or you can say hooting (?) around as usual. (Fail Daniella. Not even funny!) *hits head* :P Anyway was play a game with my bf where I ask him the most random questions! LOL one of them were if you could be any animal what would you be? He would be a gecko or a monkey. That silly owl. ;P Hehe. Well I wouldn't be an owl to be honest but something that can fly would be awesome! I love heights. 

Dani Owl above doesn't fly very much. Look at her, lying there like a little princess. Way too spoilt. :P Hahaha anyway I'm flying off now. It's going to be a pretty busy week for me! D: So don't think I have gone anywhere. I would never leave you guys. ;)
