Long Time No See

Hi guys! Haven't been on SL in a while. I've been busy, I've been accepted into university! Whoop whoop. I'm studying Animal Veterinary Biosciences. Now my next challenge is to complete it. Now private high school was bad enough so fingers crossed, let the new challenge begin and end swiftly. 

A Relaxing Kind of Day

Santa Tell Me if You're Really There

I was feeling super Christmassy and decided to go to a sim I've never explored before to take photos. That's what blogging makes me do - It forces my lazy digital butt go out more often. I decided to go to Winter Moon which is a gorgeous icy sim with a radiant aura to it. After I had taken my photos, I had bumped into an old friend of mine, Duchamp Magic. It was an unexpected surprise but a nice one! I hadn't seen or heard from him for almost four years. We rekindled our friendship of course, now I guess it's time to hunt down my other friends from the past. Well, I'd like to.

My SL Guilty Confessions *Cough*

OMG. I am so sorry for not being on SL! Real life business and sickness has gotten in the way of things. :( I am still sick... I should be lying in bed sleeping but instead I thought I would just sneak a post. :P
Sick owl needs some rest

So I guess I've missed a couple of Berry's fantastic memes! (I'm so guilty!) 
Which brings me to do this meme; "My SL Guilty confessions"
OK lets start.
  1. I am too shy. Lol it's a virtual world and all but there is a real person behind an avatar. I just feel awkward sometimes when I want to say hello to someone but I'm afraid if I become friends with them, they'll probably find me boring or SL anti-social (which I am becoming, seeing that so many events are taking place in my RL.) Even with some friends, sometimes I can't say hello because either I'm afraid I'll bother them or I might suddenly go busy on them. D: 
  2. I try not to buy L$ too often or at all because I think there is no need to use my money on virtual things. Unless I really really like them. Every once in a while I will give my avi some Lindens. :P (I am the worst avi owner) LOL. 
  3. I don't feel completely comfortable dancing with a partner in SL. I just don't know. It feels weird especially if the guy your dancing with always puts on the most intimate dances. >< Then I honestly really don't enjoy it. I have a RL bf so it feels wrong to me even though it's just dancing (with kissing, touching etc.) So if I don't agree to dancing with you, don't feel hurt about it. You're probably a good dancer, I am definitely not. :P
  4. Lol if you flirt I won't flirt back. Hahaha if you catch a guy flirting with me it'll most likely end in "You're no good at flirting." OH WELL. I wasn't trying to flirt crazy person. :P
  5. I take too many photos in SL. D: I have so many I should delete but just can't get myself to delete! Well I'm loving the new flickr because as you know I don't have a pro acc and the changes has allowed me to upload more pictures! (yay!) 
All right only five guilty confessions because my head is beginning to hurt. I hope everyone is happy, well and missing me. :P Thanks all who hope I get better. I will. :)

 OMG I miss everyone sooo much! Sorry I haven't been on. I hope no one's ran away. I caught a cold (I know a good excuse for being SL lazy). Yeah... I would've made your pixels sick. ;P I'm still a bit sick because of stupid, crappy weather. It's killing me!!! Oh well. I shouldn't get too grumpy because... It's FRIDAY! Yaay! I missed so much this week so be good to me.

 I want a hug! Sorry there I go again... but it's true. I miss him so much and so easily. I honestly think I've gone completely crazy. ;P It's not an entirely bad thing. Missing him can hurt but being with him makes me feel on top of the world crazy! ;)

 Lol ok about SLife... I haven't been doing much. I was just trying on skins I never took a picture of or worn for in ages! This is the Roza skin from Glam Affair. Isn't it pretty? I think it's the only Glam Affair skin I have. :O OMG I'm such a skin loser.

Also while I was at Mother Goose's, I spotted these little cuties! Aren't they adorable? I know many people in Second Life tend to role-play and it does look fun as long as they are enjoying themselves. I know kid avatars are sweet little things. I guess being a kid for them makes them feel carefree, innocent and joyful. Of course it's easy to dress up and role-play with all the different, unique and crazy creations made by other avatars! Although I don't think role-playing is my thing. Maybe an owl would be OK because I'm naturally an owl. :P My avatar is just me I guess. :) Sleepy, crazy me.

Sometimes I feel bad for what women have to go through in SL. OMG this is what happened to me today! I was peacefully (innocently :P) skipping around a nice sim, minding my own business when this so called man bumps into me and this is what he said:

OldNoob: Hello 
you are very sexy
Me: Uhhh thanks?
OldNoob: do you want sex?
Me: What?!
OldNoob: I know a very nice place. OK? Please come
Me: No
OldNoob: I have a 12 inch cock
Me: :O OMG you are sick. What makes you think a 12 inch cock would impress me?
OldNoob: 12 inch very good... you should try it
Me: I only care about the person not the size! Go find someone else.
OldNoob: but baby... I want you
Me: I have a BF and I don't even know you.
(He obviously doesn't care or didn't listen)
OldNoob: you're a beautiful sexy girl, I want you
OldNoob: Please... It will be good I promise 

 Then I teleported some place else and he finally shuts up gives up.

 Note: I changed his name to something that suited him and fixed ALL his spelling mistakes to protect his identity because I am an angel. :P
Phew!

I would've kicked his 12 inch off 982769909 inches into the sky! OK maybe that's a little too far but I think he would've deserved it. Hehe although it was good thing I had my camera with me. I mean look at him! He's wearing BLING! I can't even see myself, it's blinding :( LOL and I've seen what SL use to look like in the past (maybe around 2005 from blogs) and he presents that look well. I mean is it just me that thinks it's weird how new residents would dress like this if the normal avatar they start with looks OK? (Better than OldNoob here) It is crazy! Also do most new residents think that SL is about sex? 
Take for instance OldNoob here. OldNoob thinks that he can get any girl he wants in SL because it's just a game.

Well guess what?

1. It won't happen. (Especially if you look like OldNoob)
2. SL is a game (maybe not to some) but people enjoy it without stupid people.
3. Begging is not cool (also bling).
4. People have the right to be treated with respect because there IS a real person behind an avatar.
5. SL is not all about sex.

So newbies. Please DO NOT go around showing off your 12 inch freenises thinking every girl would want you because the truth is you can't always get what you want in life, even in SL :P

Beginnings

My Newbie Days

Do you remember your early days of being a newbie? Of course it was scary! Well for me. No one really helped me so I learnt most of everything myself :P
I was rezzed on November 08, 2011 and of course we all probably keep our newbie photos somewhere for laughs! I have so many but I'll share with you a couple so you guys know how I was growing up and looked during the early stages of my SL childhood.


This is newbie me. The avatar I started with and had a hard time finding free skins, clothes and stuff for! There was this one time where I was trying to put on clothes for the first time and awkwardly I became NAKED and FRUSTRATED thinking "OMG where have my clothes disappeared?!" Hehe good times.


My avi slowly develops. Gets new skin, hair, clothes and shape made by myself.


Later changes again. This time skin and I had blue eyes. I rarely ever change my skin so when I find a skin that looks good on my shape I keep that skin for some time.

Chillin'

Soon later, I updated my graphics drive and then I could enable SHADOWS! Yay! I love shadows ♥

Red

Then there's me now! Brown eyed, new skin and wearing more red! Hehe.

Sometimes Second Life is sort of like a survival game. Learning how to do this and that, avoiding this and that and just adjusting to a new environment.

LOL that's why I just have to show this video made by Sean Krueger. It is hilarious!
